Just to Say

Feb card for "Crafty Card Swap" group The theme is black/ white/ and /red.
Using red card stock I stamped the background in black memento using a Kanban stamp I also used the same stamp for the middle embossed in red then layered on black (I like to use black behind it really makes the image pop).I put this at an angle. I added flowers and leaf using a Marriane die the smaller flowers are my faithful Nellie Snellen punch My side border was an "Artemio" stamp on white card stock and embossed in black the sentiment was free with Creative Stamping Spring Fling magazine

I made this card for my Sophie .

I used some beautiful papers that I had in my stash for ages and I just love them, and have found it difficult to  cut into them just wanted to look and stroke.....anyone else ever feel this way

They just had the look that I needed for this card.

 I used my Nellie Snellen punches for the flowers and Cheery Lynn flourish. 

The middle is a docrafts die and the lady in the hat is a peel-off coloured in black

the velvety papers on the bottom are from Stampin Up and the top ones are Kanban  felt it was all worth the sacrifice.

I Spy.

This is Ewan's birthday card .
I used a digi stamp free off the internet I coloured it with Spectrum Noir pens and did the background in "Pan Pastels" used "Glossy Accents" to highlight the heart and Dino. I added 2 googly eyes.
The background papers are "Miss Caroline", My Minds Eye. for the scalloped edge I used a "Woodware Punch" from there collection
Sentiments are from  Aly's Inky Fingers numbers and letters embossed with "Cosmic Shimmer" Lapis Black Aurora  embossing powder onto blue card stock.
The butterflies are "Spellbinder Dies"
....apologies for  the photo the lettering looks really dark when in fact it is blue...

I made this card at Parchment class with help from my  very talented teacher Lorraine from Cutting Edge Skegness.

Birds on the wing

I used my Andy Skinner "Winters Tale" stamps just love these you can create your own scene.I chose a snowy scene with the birds flying to a warmer climate. Mind you the little robin is staying. Spring Blossoms

Another make using free stamps from Creative Stamping issue 8

I just loved this corner flower stamp it looks very effective as a border I incorporated it with with another of my favourite pansy stamps from Papermania Botanical range. This stamp is tiny but so versatile. I used Adirondack Lettuce and blended it with damp brush to create  shaded flower petals. My buttons are a Nellie Snellen die and the cut-out is Spellbinder labels 19.

A Button or Two

I am entering this card into DCC Challenge "Button Up" I started on cream card and embossed with my Stampin -up embossing folder "Fan"

I embossed picture  using a sizzix folder Pheasants on Co-ordination cardstock and added gems. The papers are from "My minds eye" which I punched the scalloped edge using a Woodware punch, added buttons n bakers twine

I embossed image using "Personal Impressions" black super sparkle. on to tag
the background was 3 different embossing folders , scroll is Everything Eleanor" embossed

Here is my 1st Valentines card. This stamp is free with the Creative Stamping mag. I always buy this because the freebies are always good value and issue 8 is no exception once again wonderful stamps.

I loved this lovely floral head and thought it was ideal for a valentine's  card .

I embossed with Personal Impressions black super sparkle powder , my 2 hearts are "Tim Holtz" Movers and Shapers mini hearts the background is my super lge text stamp from Stampin up and the scrolls are from "Everything Eleanor". Framelits" dies are also from StampinUp
